Located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, the charming Mahad has a beautiful rural landscape. Set amidst the Western ghats and beside Savitri river, Mahad is slowly gaining popularity on the tourism front due to its beautiful surroundings and landscape. Though I only had a chance to ride through this lovely place, Mahad was impressive with whatever little I saw of it.

Yeah, it is such a serene place. Was surprised to spot the caves from the road, was least expecting such a natural formation.
