  8. You know, that's exactly my feeling whenever I see a cottage nestled amid the mountains...such bliss, truly! I loved Coonoor when I visited it around 2 years back, much more than Ooty. Your picture brought back lovely memories. Thanks!

    1. Glad that you liked it. I too prefer Coonoor over Ooty.

  9. Nice image. On the surface the greens look good. However, these plantations are not ecofriendly. You won't find much of insects, reptiles and birds etc due to the amount of synthetic pesticides and fertilisers used. Wish to live in a house in a real forest.

  16. It would be blissful indeed!
But at the same time, I'm sure life is not so blissful for the family who stay there and toil in the fields... no?

  19. I did! for eight years, on the edge of a hill in a fabulous bungalow overlooking Mettupalayam! The clouds would be lower than eye level in the early mornings and the mist would roll in like tendrils of smoke....truly breattaking! Miss all that space even more then the view today though :-)
