Jurong Bird Park: A Photo Essay

Asia's largest bird park with more than 400 species of birds numbering to more than 5000, Jurong Bird park is undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions in Singapore. Many natural environments have been created to help the birds feel at home. These include Lory Loft (has an Australian outback theme), Penguin Coast (houses more than a 100 penguins), Pelican Cove (a wide range of Pelicans can be seen here), Wings of Asia (numerous Asian avian fauna are bred here, including many threatened species) and many more. There are numerous bird shows and interactive sessions held here for the visitors. The bird park also has a breeding centre and known for its world's highest man made waterfall.
